Bob King, affectionately known as “British Country Music’s Gentle Giant” is an award winning entertainer who has travelled the length and breadth of the British Isles, Ireland and beyond. Besides performing and songwriting, Bob also worked for a time with the British and Irish Country Music News and Roots magazine, reporting on the Irish connection to country music in Britain.
Over the years he has released many of his own songs and notably, “Donegal Lady” was covered by Tommy Johnson on the Hazel Record Label in Ireland. Bob recently took a short break from the business, but he is now back on the road with some new songs and his own unique style of country music and if that isn’t enough, he finds time to present his own radio show! Details are below.
