“I was born and raised on the Pineridge Indian reservation.  My Grandmother on my mother’s side was French and Indian.  My Father’s side of the family was a mix of Native American and anything else that came along .

Following an accident in 1976 I started to write poetry and then songs as a form of escape and a place where I could freely express feelings and emotions. My songs range across a lot of genres and styles from blues through gospel and country to folk and beyond. It’s easy to become a songwriter I’ve discovered, you just set and write for 35 years!”
