Dave Sheriff has been a professional performer since 1972 and a serious writer since 1991 when his self penned album ‘One Man Band Extraordinaire’ containing sixteen original songs was awarded ‘Best Album’ at the 1993 UK Country Music Radio Awards.
Since then his songs have been recorded by Frank McCaffrey, Ann Breen, Michael English, Declan Nerney, Stephen Smyth, Robert Mizzell, Philomena Begley and Aidan Quinn. He has recorded 4 albums in Nashville, worked with The Jordanaires, recorded duets with Porter Wagoner, Ray Walker, Kimber Clayton and Lisa Stanley and appeared at the world famous Grand Ole Opry in Nashville at the invitation of Porter Wagoner.
