Erik Halbig graduated from USC school of music with a Bachelors of Music in Studio/Jazz Guitar. Taught Clinics and seminars at National Guitar Summer Workshop for ten years at their Los Angeles California and Nashville Tennessee campuses. He has had books published by Alfred/Workshop Arts and Hal Leonard, has written columns for Guitar Player magazine and has performed all over the USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Erik has performed on the Tonight Show, at the Grammys, CMA awards, ACM awards, Jimmy Kimmel, Good Morning America, and many others and is currently on tour with Thompson Square.. Previously tours include Sara Evans, Blackhawk, Tanya Tucker, Wynonna, Donna Summer, Jake Owen and Chely Wright.

He has two songs on Thompson Square’s CD, and many other independent cuts with a range of up and coming Nashville artists.
