Growing up in Southern California, Glidewell was surrounded by many musical influences. Living in Las Vegas during his teen years and moving to Arkansas during high school opened his ears to the country and gospel markets. Glidewell played college baseball and is a graduate of the University of the Ozarks.
With 2014 cuts by Kristi Warner and Maddie Deneault, songwriter Jerry Glidewell works on projects for the country, pop and wider markets. During the past 3 years, he’s had songs performed by Amy Assister (Speed Network), Crawford & James (Seattle duo) and emerging country band Backroad Anthem. Glidewell co-wrote “Home Run” which was recorded by MacKenzie Morgan for the Chicago White Sox. His song “Be Still” was recorded by the Christian group CO3.
Glidewell is a former keyboard player for Carrie Underwood and has song agreements with publishers in Nashville, New York and LA. He is a member of BMI, NSAI, and SongU.
