Gerald Smith has lived in Nashville since 1986. He has penned number one hits for Lorrie Morgan and Collin Raye and his credit list reads like a Who’s Who of the country music world.

Gerald was inducted into the Northern American Country Music association Hall of Fame in 2011 and awarded the coveted “Songwriter Award”. His hit “What Part Of No Don’t You Understand” recently received BMI recognition for more than 3 million plays. Gerald is currently writing for Melody Roundup Music in Nashville.
