Jan BuckinghamJan Buckingham is a twice Grammy nominated songwriter/producer/publisher with songs cut by Whitney Houston, Melissa Manchester, Clay Aiken, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Pam Tillis, Brian White, Crystal Gayle, Gary Morris, Barbara Mandrell, Dottie West, to name a few.

Jan has many songs placed in television (Hollywood Wives, Friends, etc.) and film (My cousin Vinnie, Rising Sun, Iron Eagle II, Thing Called Love, etc.). She lives in Nashville, TN, where she writes, produces and plays out often at the Bluebird, Commodore, Dave and Busters, Hotel Indigo, etc.

I’ve been lightly working on an idea called “One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor” but I just discovered that Jan Buckingham, a very good and successful writer has already done that. Guess that takes care of me doing it because she’s already done it so well. That’s a great one liner Jan 😀
